9. As a HomePoints member, how do I shop at HomePoints?
It's as easy as 1-2-3.

  • Sign-in with your unique ID and password each time before you shop.
  • Click on any one of the steps, sections or links to name-brand merchants.
  • Shop and checkout just as you would if you went to that merchant directly.

That's it. By signing in, we'll automatically know what you purchased and assign you the correct percentage of HomePoints for that purchase. You won't have to e-mail us your purchase confirmation or notify the merchant -- unlike other programs, there's never any complicated process involved. Just sign in and shop. Please note: many HomePoints merchant partners accept orders by phone; however, at this time, with the exception or orders placed through phone to “HomePoints Connection,” HomePoints.com cannot track phone orders placed at our merchant partner sites. To ensure you earn HomePoints every time, you must call HomePoints Connection or order online via the HomePoints Web site.

Different merchants offer different amounts of HomePoints. HomePoints endeavors to negotiate the greatest number of HomePoints for its members from each merchant.

11. What happens if I jump around from site to site, "comparison shopping "before I make a purchase?
Most shoppers like to compare prices at different sites. If you do this, you must make sure that you go back to the HomePoints site first before returning to the site where you intend to make your purchase. In many instances, when you leave a site the HomePoints 'session' that was generated to track your HomePoints is broken. A qualifying HomePoints link can be maintained only when linking directly from the HomePoints site to the store site, and then on through to the completion of a purchase.

12. Can I use a coupon from another Web site and still get HomePoints?
Coupons or offers obtained from sites other than the HomePoints site may not qualify for HomePoints.

You earn HomePoints – the Club’s “Currency” -- whenever you make a purchase through the HomePoints site, or from our partners. HomePoints will show up in your account normally within a few days of your purchase being completed. Initially, your HomePoints will show up in your account in a “pending” status. Approximately, 30-45 days following the close of the month in which you made your purchase or your transaction is completed, your HomePoints will move into the “accrued” section of your HomePoints account. When you reach 2500 “accrued” points or more, you are eligible, through the HomePoints redemption page of your choice of a “SuperCertificate” from GiftCertificates.com. HomePoints has partnered with GiftCertificates.com to provide you with the largest possible selection of gift cards. SuperCertificate® products are not redeemable for cash, SuperCertificate® products, or American Express® Gift Cheques. Promotions are not valid when redeeming SuperCertificate® gifts.
