About Us

     HomePoints® is a unique first-of-its-kind loyalty/rewards program for moving households--connecting them with the companies that provide the products and services they need for their move and new home.   Not only is HomePoints a rewarding way to get things done for your move and home, it's convenient to have everything in one place.

 

     Companies representing all categories of goods and services purchased by existing and relocating households are participating in the HomePoints program.  Network partners currently include Realtor®  services, moving services, TV, Internet and telephone services, home services (including remodeling), financial services, home stores, furniturre and furnishing stores, fashion stores and many more.  Members earn points from transactions with Network companies, and from shopping through the HomePoints Marketplace, with over 3000 retailers and service providers.  Points are easily converted on HomePoints.com for gift cards or cash.  There is no cost to become a Member of HomePoints, and Members pay the same as they would elsewhere.  Members receive free HomePoints for doing what they already do!

Meet Our Board

 

 

 

Mark Gruen, Founder: Mr. Gruen is a seasoned (but not spicy) marketing and business executive.

From 1984 to 2006 he founded and managed Gruen+Sells, Ltd., a nationally recognized direct marketing advertising agency specializing in credit card marketing, new mover marketing, and retail traffic building.  The firm’s clients included: Allstate, Discover Card, GE Capital, Lowes, MasterCard International, Move, Inc, National Association of Realtors, Sears, Talbots, Target and more.  His deep knowledge of direct marketing techniques easily shifted to the digital marketing space, where he created new businesses. Now, with his knowle3dge of the needs for moving homeowners, he founded HomePoints.

Franc Arbide, Board Member: Franc is an executive at Florida Power and Light.  Previously, Franc was Executive Vice‐President of WhiteFence.com, until the sale of the company to Allconnect. WhiteFence boasted the internet’s leading technology for changing utilities.  Franc is highly connected in the Real Estate and “moving” industry.

Alan Dyon, Board Member: Al is former Chairman of Allstate Enterprises, and President of Allstate Motor Club. He served as Chairman of the Direct Marketing Association, the leading international trade organization for the direct marketing industry. Al is nationally recognized in the Direct Marketing Industry for his management and marketing skills.

Valarie Gelb, Board Member: Ms. Gelb was Chief Sales Development Officer and Executive Vice President, MasterCard Worldwide. She was one of the eighteen top executives who served on the Management Committee chaired by the CEO and was responsible for the global sales force in 210 countries and territories. Her expertise lies in the areas of payments; strategic development, global customer due diligence, products and solutions, sales, marketing, business development, multi-channel distribution, operations, technology, e-commerce and risk management.  Currently, Valarie is CEO of TheBarnYardGroup, a leading advisory group, with a passion for storytelling, and a sharp focus on emerging media, building online communities, and advancing technology by partnering with agencies for the brands they serve, to formulating and implementing marketing strategies.  Valarie has served as the interim Chief Executive Officer for the Global Fund for Women and currently co-chairs their Corporate Leadership Council; and is a Lead Board Director at Cimbal, Inc., and President of the IWF Connecticut.

Jeff Singer J.D., Board Member:  Mr. Singer is Chairman of the law firm Segal, McCambridge, Singer Mahoney.  Segal McCambridge, headquartered in Chicago, has seven offices around the country and currently employs more than 200 attorneys.

Kathy Thornton-Bias, Board Member.  Ms. Thornton-Bias has had an accomplished career in Sales, Global Luxury, Digital, Branding Strategy, Merchandising, and New Busines Development.  Kathy has served as President of the North American Division of Bang & Olufson, President of the Retail division of the Museum of Modern Art New York, Vice President, Merchandising at InStyle.com, Vice President, Divisional Merchandise Manager at Saks Fifth Avenue plus she has served as a member of the Board of Trustees at the University of Virginia.  Kathy has been recognized for her many achievements, including: Luxury Daily, Luxury Women to Watch, January 2015, Ebony Magazine, Power 100 List, November 2014, Essence Magazine, Game Changers: Power List, October 2014, Surface Magazine, Power 100, July 2014.
